At Dandelion Nursery, we believe a child's first steps into education should be filled with joy, wonder, and warmth. Our mission is to nurture happy, resilient, and naturally curious children, laying a secure foundation for them to become independent and confident learners for life.
We welcome babies from three months old up to four year olds and we only have a maximum of 13 children at one time.
Our Promise: By fostering an environment of respect and freedom within gentle boundaries, we empower children to trust their own abilities, make choices with confidence, and grow at their own perfect pace.

We proudly offer a unique, blended approach to early years education by weaving together two world-class frameworks:
The British EYFS Curriculum: Provides a robust, play-based framework ensuring every child reaches their critical developmental and social milestones.
The Montessori Approach: Inspires our classroom design and daily flow, enco
We proudly offer a unique, blended approach to early years education by weaving together two world-class frameworks:
The British EYFS Curriculum: Provides a robust, play-based framework ensuring every child reaches their critical developmental and social milestones.
The Montessori Approach: Inspires our classroom design and daily flow, encouraging child-led exploration, self-directed learning, and hands-on practical skills.
At Dandelion Nursery, we believe that children learn best through purposeful, hands-on work that they can choose, carry, complete, and tidy independently. Each activity is arranged simply and beautifully, allowing the child to understand it at a glance and engage with it without adult interruption. This approach supports the child’s concentration, order, independence, coordination, and sense of responsibility. By selecting their own work and caring for the materials, children in our nursery school experience themselves as capable, trusted, and intrinsically motivated learners.
Children have access to the outdoor garden all day and they are encouraged and supported to learn through play.

At Dandelion Nursery, our team is comprised of experienced professionals devoted to creating a safe and happy learning environment for children. With a founder who served as a Headteacher in a primary school for nine years, we bring excellent practice and pedagogy to our nursery school.
